Sunset Sail (Sunday)

Sailing Adventure on the San Francisco Bay! With one big difference! You can help sail the yacht! Enjoy a 3-hour sail with spectacular views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Marin County!

Enjoy the sunset over the Golden Gate and city lights (Sunset). If we are lucky we'll see some cute sea life, like sea lions, porpoises, whales and maybe a shark! ;-)

If you are curious about sailing, Captain Charlie is happy to give you a mini sailing lesson. You are even welcome to help trim sails (pull lines) and even steer (helm) the yacht!

Trip:

• You are welcome to bring any food or drinks (NO Red Wine) you want

• Enjoy the Sunset with a beautiful skyline

• 3 hours of Fun and Sun on the water

• Practice Sailing with a licensed sailing Captain/Instructor

When to Arrive:

We ask people to please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. This way traffic and other delays do not prevent you from missing the trip. We will arrive at the dock before or at the time mentioned on your ticket.

What to Wear:

We ask people to wear layers of clothing and comfortable shoes (NO high heels). While being on the water may be a little chilly because of the heavy wind, Sausalito, Tiburon, and Angel Island can be almost 20 degrees warmer. Some people even bring bathing suits and jump into the water near the Island to cool off. But please bring heavy jackets for when we are in the wind. We go as far as to recommend that people bring a change of clothes for the warm and cold weather.

Also please be aware that you are on a sailing yacht the deck (floor of the yacht) maybe wet so please wear non-marking tennis shoes or other comparable types of shoes. We don't want you slipping on the deck.

Where to Meet:

We will meet you at Pier 40 in San Francisco. It is SOUTH of the Bay Bridge. There is limited parking in the area and the parking that is in the area is quite expensive. We recommend that people take other forms of transportation into the area and park outside the area.

About Our Captain:

Captain Charlie is a US Coast Guard Certified Captain. He has been a sailor for more than 35 years. He has over 1200 Days of sailing experience and has sailed many different types of sailing yachts.
